Open de Portugal at Royal Óbidos 2022
For the third consecutive year Royal Óbidos Golf course will host the Open de Portugal. This historic tournament will celebrate its 60th edition this year.
This Challenge Tour event will take place from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th September 2022. The Pro-Am will be played on Wednesday the 14th. We are also proud to announce the signing of a new protocol with the Portuguese Golf Federation to host the Open de Portugal for another three years at Royal Obidos (2023 – 2025).

The Audi Quattro Cup is proud to choose elite courses and, in Portugal, this tradition of great courses has made the selection fall for the second year at the Royal Óbidos Golf & Spa Resort – an exquisite design by Seve Ballesteros, perhaps the best European player of all time, and the stage for the Portuguese Open - Challenge Tour.

Audi Quattro Cup champions to Ballesteros and a hole-in-one to Sergio Garcia
It is one of the most prestigious and ancient competitions in the so-called “commercial golf”, celebrating in 2021 an important date, as it was founded in 1991. Since then, more than 600 tournaments have been held in 38 countries, with nearly a hundred thousand golfers around the world, sometimes on courses with huge media coverage such as the “Ryder Cuppers” The Belfry and K-Club; Mission Hills World Cup by professionals and the Earth Course that hosts the European Tour's Dubai World Championship.
